Welcome to the Democratic Party of Oak Park. That's DPOP for short, which we pronounce Dee-POP! We're one of the largest progressive Democratic organizations in Cook County, and we welcome Democrats from all walks of life, from all backgrounds, and with all sorts of opinions. Take a look around our site, learn about our efforts, our candidates, our team, and our Committeeman Senator Don Harmon. There are monthly meetings on the second Saturday of every month, and a MeetUp on the fourth Monday of the month. You're always welcome at the Democratic Party of Oak Park.

Already the Democratic Party of Oak Park and our leadership team are working with Senator Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. We have a supply of campaign buttons and bumper stickers for you (we do request a modest donation, as these items were purchased). Our regular Democratic Party of Oak Park MeetUps are now your opportunity to be involved with the Barack Obama campaign every month. The DPOP/Barack Obama for President monthly MeetUp is on the fourth Monday of every month at 7 p.m. at The Buzz Cafe, 905 S. Lombard, Oak Park. Sign up at our MeetUp site and get involved!
